Butchers Hill Neighborhood Traffic Calming

The Butchers Hill Community in Baltimore City, Maryland, led by Andrew Crummey, received a grant to upgrade the east and west curb lines of the 100 block of  East Pratt St and South Chester Street. The purpose of the bump-outs is to improve pedestrian safety and neighborhood aesthetics. ESD Associates conducted a hydrology study and communicated with the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) to obtain utility records of the intersection to create plan sheets detailing the drainage areas and construction details of the project. ESD Associates has also fielded and addressed any questions from Baltimore City DOT during the inquiry period.
